Management and leadership duties include employee development and engagement, ongoing coaching, and performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or business related field, or equivalent
  • Computer competency: MS Windows XP, MS Suite including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, AS400, SAP, and Oracle
  • Licensed Financial Representative (FINRA Series 6 and 63)

Duties and Responsibilities

Staffing & Performance Coaching
  • Build and develop branch sales staff by recruiting, hiring, mentoring and, using the performance management system, coaching staff to exceed their annual performance objectives
  • Positively demonstrate leadership and teamwork by proactively assisting other branch colleagues when needed as well as actively participating and contributing during Branch Team meetings
  • Ensure the branch team is trained on Bank's policies and procedures, products, sales, and service models
  • Lead the impact planning process with the branch team, and ensure effective delivery and follow up
  • Responsible for monitoring time worked by staff and the reporting of time to the HR Department for record keeping and payroll processing purposes
  • Act responsibly if co-workers are observed violating policies, procedures and/or laws. Report to District Manager and address immediately any issues concerning employee relations
  • Review individual and team goals periodically to measure performance and implement action plans to ensure success
Operations
  • Notify Home Office Licensing Department of all reports, documents or correspondence related to state or federal licensing or other information
  • Report to Home Office Operations Department immediately any legal, governmental, or similar correspondence or contact received in the branch office
  • Verify all reports of collections for loans/sales
  • Audit and control of new accounts and file maintenance performed by staff
  • Complete purchase orders and purchase requests for office supplies
  • Administer all security programs and address security needs and concerns
  • Make all necessary reports of customer bankruptcy information to Home Office
  • Monitor and control branch P & L, revenue and profit margin
  • Ensure compliance with operational, security and control policies/procedures, preventing fraud and protecting customer assets
  • Ensure branch financial goals are met or exceeded
  • Ensure that the branch operations are operating efficiently
Customer Experience
  • Report to District Manager and address immediately any issues concerning customer relations
  • Respond to customer inquiries and/or complaints
  • Discuss features and benefits of multiple products and services that may meet client needs. Ensure the client selects the best product for him
  • Maintain and call on a client book of business
  • Identify financial needs and present all appropriate options, working cooperatively with appropriate business partners
  • Develop new and expand existing consumer and business account relationships within a branch to achieve financial objectives
  • Participate in community organizations and activities to enhance the Bank's awareness and image within the community
  • Monitor and coach customer service behaviors to exceed service measurement goals within the branch
General
  • Handle money and valuable items with care and responsibility, understanding that losses will be deducted from the employee's pay, and such infractions can result in termination
  • Read and comprehend written materials and apply principles and information contained in written materials
  • Follow bank policies and procedures and adhere to all state and federal laws and guidelines
  • Work the required hours, to complete tasks as assigned and to complete all job duties and responsibilities in a manner which complies with bank standards, including those for professionalism, quality, and productivity
  • Not smoke or use any type of tobacco product in any branch office, Home Office, or other bank facilities or vehicles
  • Allow the Bank to obtain background information about employment, conduct a criminal background check, contact references, and secure a credit report
  • Keep all company business, including customer information, confidential
  • Have his or her own reliable transportation
  • Promptly respond to alarm calls to secure the building.
  • Report concerns to Risk Manager
  • Investigating accidents and processing required paperwork
Supervisors
  • Report to a Retail Regional Manager, Commercial Branch Manager, or Senior Branch Manager
